Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken near Ljubljana, from St. Ana hill, which gives wonderful view to the valley below.

Time

Certainly, for such photos, you have to wake up early, crazy early. We have been there, waiting in the cold morning, for the sun to come up. it was worth waiting :-)

Lighting

Yes, it is all about lighting, hence the morning hours. As the valley is open and wide, we have waited for certain moments, as they changed from minute to minute. The foggy morning just add to the dramatics of the moment ...

Equipment

I shoot with Canon 6D, equiped with Tamron 70-200 mm lens. I used tripod for this shot, as well as the full stopper filter.

Inspiration

Nothing especially, it was just the right-time-on-right-place moment.

Editing

Just a bit of contrast and colour adjustment. I did cropped it to achieve the panoramic effect ...

In my camera bag

Lately, nothing huge really, my fixed 35 mm Fujifilm. When special ideas are in play, then of course I take necessary lenses and cameras with me.
