This was taken on a morning dog walk, two dog leashes in one hand and a Panasonic Lumix Camera in the other. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time, a lucky shot. "Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter." ~Ansel AdamsLighting
Dragonflies are usually found around bodies of fresh water (lake, pond, river, etc.) on sunny days however, I saw him at about eye level in a woodlands. It was a sunny hot morning, so perhaps he was taking a break in shade.Equipment

Several years ago, I had my world turned suddenly upside down. While struggling to make sense of it all, I came across this quote... "Life is like a camera. Just focus on what’s important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don’t turn out – take another shot."~Unknown My son gave me a camera and I started looking for the positive instead of the negative in life. A gazillion photos later, I'm still working on improving my life and my photography.Editing

I am an older woman who tries to stay fit by either walking or biking. Although I have a Nikon DSLR, I always carry one of my smaller Panasonic cameras when exercising. Looking for things to photograph makes exercise seem like fun and helps the time fly by.Feedback
