Location
I took this photo in an apartment that I sometimes use as a studio. I always love working this model as we understand each other very well.Time
I shot this image late morning as I mostly always do my model shoots.Lighting
The lighting I use were two Canon 580 EX II Speedlights on a stand, one with 30" Umbrella and one with 30" Softbox.Equipment
IN this photo I used my Canon SLR 7D, Canon Lens 24-105mm L f/4, 2 light stands, 2 Canon 580 EX II Speedlights, one 30" Umbrella and one 30" Softbox.Inspiration
I love shooting models and when I am shooting with a great model like this one it inspires me more. I was doing this shoot for a lingerie shop which I always enjoy shooting for them.Editing
Doing everything right before shooting is a must. Good lighting, good pose, good makeup and good hairstyle leaves you little to do in post processing. What I did was a slight skin softening, a bit of contrast and cropping. In my camera bag
In my bag I always carry my two Canon SLR bodies a 7D and a 5D MKIII, one Canon Speedlight 600EX RT, four Canon L series lenses 17-40mm f/4, 24-105mm f/4, 50mm f/1.8 and 70-200mm MKII f2.8. When I go for model shoots I carry threee light stands, 3 Yongnuo 565 speed lights, two 30" umbrellas, one 30" softbox and one 60" soft box.Feedback
First thing, planning is a must. Seeing other photographers work teaches you and you get your own ideas. Knowing the place you are shooting is a must. Learning from other photographers in workshops helps a lot. Always accept critique and learn from it.
