Behind The Lens

Location

In that picture, I was diving on a reef in San Juan, Puerto Rico near he Caribe Hilton Hotel. The deep was about 35 feet with 25 feet of visibility.

Time

The diving was around 10:00 AM.

Lighting

The visibility was not very good but no artificial light was used. Only the sunlight

Equipment

For this picture we used a GoPro Hero 3.

Inspiration

I am passionate about the sea and diving sport. It was a unique moment where that school of fish swim among us in a magical moment.

Editing

Yes, I use an HDR rendering in Photoshop CS6 to create an abstract moment between the fish and I.

In my camera bag

In every excursion my bag have many items. I carry my Canon 60D, some lenses, light filters, cleaning material, a flash, extra batteries and memories and of course my GoPro Hero 3 with many attachments.

Feedback

I have always believe that when you're going to take the perfect shoot, will happen when the nature wants it. So you always have to be ready with your equipment with you and your mind focused on capturing the moment. A GREAT picture usually not planned, just happen and if you not be prepare the moments will escape.
