Inspiration

My little grand-daughters wanted to stop to see the pelicans begging for hand-outs from the fishermen, who were cleaning their catch on the foreshore. I started snapping, but the pelicans didn't stay long for very long and catching these three "posing" so nicely was a great stroke of luck. They were literally in that position for a split second.

Editing

Very little. Just the usual slight adjustments

In my camera bag

I have used a D7000 for quite a while now and the D70 is the spare. I have a couple of lenses and filters but I do like to travel light.
