Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was made in a photo tent to contain lightning.

Time

time of the day doesn't quiet matter. I work during the day with the tent on the dining table or the kitchen counter.

Lighting

I really want to find the right focus on these small items. How to let it shine, or what shows. How to draw out the beauty of discarded flowers and chili. Overall light from the tent and playing with som extra LED lights.

Equipment

My camera is a Nikon D750, lens is a 105 macro with an extra 34mm attached to it, of course tripod, no flash.

Inspiration

I love flowers and in this case also these chili's that are beyond their beauty, aged, all ready to be discarded. Show the beauty of that aging process, show the inner beauty when pedals are almost all off and in the case of the chili's showing a face.

Editing

A simple post processing to get the colors out.

nikonD750, small Lumix, 24-120 lens, 50mm lens, 24mm lens, 70-300 lens. No flash
