Behind The Lens

Location

I took this shot at the beginning of covid on a deserted beach walking my dogs I went to night school when roll film was around so I am self tort with regards to dpi.

Time

This shot was taken around 8-30 on a very cold and miserable morning at my local beach in North Wales I couldn't weight to get home to the warmth and Imagine my surprised to find I had captured such a good shot in such sad times as covid.

Lighting

I wanted the image to capture the mood of covid deserted and foreboding I looked at it on the screen and realized that with some manipulation of the sky it could be more dramatic.

Equipment

Nikon 800e body,lens Nikon 80-400 mm

Inspiration

Covid inspired this shot the mood of the country deserted and heavy and the pandemic hanging over everyone.

Editing

I find that most sky's need some manipulation to bring out the anger and to make the shot more dramatic or to soften to make the mood more pleasant.

In my camera bag

I normally have a Nikon 800e body 3 lenses 90 mm macro 80 400 mm and 24 70 mm tripod/mono depending on the shoot

Feedback

Forget the weather and shoot at all times of the day visit as often as allowed go with an open mind and let your eyes find the seen.
