There's nothing better than a wee stroll down the east coast of Scotland in the Longniddry/Aberlady area on a balmy summer's evening. We had wondered around the burd reserve and were heading back to Longniddry Bents when the kayakers paddled by. I just liked the colours and the calmness of the water.Time
It was evening time, a very relaxing time to be in that spot. There had been quite a few birds diving for fish and then all went calm. We stopped with a coffee to sit and enjoy it allLighting
Sunset on this coast can vary but this evening it was braw.Equipment
This may have been shot on either my Nikon D7000 or my android phone I use both constantly. At present I cant actually get into the background data of the shot to see. (I'm on my phone)Inspiration
I just loved the scene. It fitted in nicely with the way I was feeling at the time.Editing
I have lightroom on both my phone and laptop. I usually boost the contrast a wee bit.In my camera bag
Most of the time I use a Nikon D7000 with the 18 to 200 lens. Or my Samsung phone.Feedback
I always wait. When you think the best lighting has been and you have taken a great shot. Wait a bit longer and take another.
