I guess probably between 2 n 4 the blizzard was just starting I can't recall the exact timeLighting
It was freezing and my window was open and I probably would have got hypothermia if I did not have an electric blanket this was NOT easy 1 shot it was hours of sitting with the window open freezing my husband and my self out with a space heater on him, this was patience paying off ..Equipment
My Nikon n 300 mm my window sill and my elbowsInspiration
The fruit I put in my window to make them come, but the way the snow hit the eye when the tail came down to the hole, and moved so fast it caught my attention by the time I shot tail movedEditing

Patience is a vertue, pack a lunch ur gonna be there a long time, birds spook easy and when they are that close to u, u gotta be like Elmer fudd n verrrry quite n still no sudden movements, I put dried fruit on my window ledge trying to get them to come closer but they were not having it this is about 5 to 6 feet away
