Behind The Lens

Location

Picture taken in Brazil, Pantanal. One of the typical birds in that region.

Time

This was taken early in the morning.

Lighting

Not always easy to have a background with leaves, trees instead of the sky.

Equipment

I used a 70-200mm Nikon with Nikon body.

Inspiration

This is one of the most colourful birds; I needed to have a good picture of it. Once you're back home, obviously you wont be able to shoot this bird.

Editing

Mostly sharpening, adjusting light and cropping in post production.

In my camera bag

When travelling to other countries, I usually take only two cameras and three lenses with me: a telelens (up to 600 mm), a normal tele-zoom (70-200 mm) and a landscape. More would be too much to travel with.

Feedback

I always keep in mind the self-imposed 4 "P's": Patience, passion and perseverance will lead to performance.
