Picture was taken in the historic small city of Workum- in the north of the Netherlands

On a winter's day at the second half of the afternoon the light can be very fluescent and coloured because of the lake where it is next to

Lighting

Winter light in the late aftenoon with soft light and long shadows I like

Equipment

The last three years I stick to my Nikon D850 and bought a second hand D810 next to it- I like both of them. Prime lenses

Inspiration

I come here very often for 30/40 years and I like the light in the afternoon as it is reflected on the water of the IJsselmeer- an adjecent lake.

Editing

Yes, more contrast- lifting up the shades a bit and in this case chenged the blue

In my pre digital age i swore to Canon but in the digital area somehow I changed to Nikon mainly because of the ergonomics. Now I like the deep colours of Nikon
