This is what I do with my fellow photographer and friend Lan Doan from LA. We shot this in an old castle in France.

Location
This photo was taken in a very old french chateau called "Le Chateau du Repaire" near Limoges, especially in this stunning hallway with stairsTime
It was shot in the middle of the day, it was actually one of the first shots of the day, the complex lighting was set up during the preparation of the bride.Lighting
This is probably the most complex lighting setup we had during this shoot, we had a CTO gel on our key light and rim light to get those blue tones on the background, we also added 2 constant lights with CTO gels, to bring back some touches of natural colors on the walls. Finally there was a double CTO on a flash behind the door on the back to get that warmth coming from it on the right side of the photo.Equipment
This was shot with the Sony A7III with the Samyang 35mm F1.4, we used 3 godox flashes (AD200pro, AD400pro and the AD600BM). The constant lights we used were some small cheap amazon LED panels.Inspiration
Actually, this is the kind of shot that comes when you see the place. We were amazed by those stunning marble stairs in that hallway and we knew we had to do something there. I immediately thought that playing with color temperatures to bring some cool tones would work wonders.Editing
Actually it was a pretty simple editing process, we just played with the color balance to get the blue we wanted and the skin tones we wantedin Lightroom, other than that we did a simple photoshop edit to get rid of the wrinkles on the dress and a bit of blemish removal. In my camera bag
As an all around kit, I pretty much bring my A7III, the 35mm F1.4 and the 50mm F1.4 from samyang and my trustworthy Tamron 90mm F2.8 macro lens (the really old one with the canon mount). As for the lighting I bring my AD300pro everywhere with me if I need some lighting. But it mostly depends on what kind of photoshoot, I also have the 85mm F1.4 from samyang, and the Sigma 135mm F1.4 and a lot of different godox lights.Feedback
The location is key ! When you have the chance to shoot in such a magical place, the ideas come naturally. But you need to be patient while setting up this kind of lighting, if you rush it, you will blow it ! Carefully add one light at a time and analyse every test shot ! Funny story : In this particular shot, the rim light which had a snoot on moved a bit and didn't do anything for this here !
