I took this photo of my granddaughter in my son's home office. I liked that he had a nice colored wall and the framed sheet music as a background.Time
This was taken in early afternoon, when the light was nice inside but no direct sunlight. I had my flash but had forgot to recharge the batteries in it, so this was all indirect window light.Lighting
Nothing special. Spring day with high overcast clouds. No added light, just window light.Equipment
I shot this with my Sony Alpha 7 II, 55 prime lens, tripod.Inspiration
My granddaughter has been modeling for pictures in the family since she was born. She's pretty and the viola added to the story and she had a new solid black dress. I thought of this photo and asked her if she'd model for me.Editing
I did some editing in Lightroom. Just a few tweaks here and there. In my camera bag
Since I don't have scores of lens and other accessories, I keep it all in my bag. Two camera bodies, 90 mm macro, 55 prime, 70-350 telephoto, 20-70 kit lens, 16-34 wide angle, 80mm lens ball, flash, several batteries and memory cards, cleaning supplies.Feedback
It's nice to have great light and a pretty model with big blue eyes.
