Behind The Lens

Location

I took this shot in La Provence cafe in Tigard, Oregon. I was having a late breakfast with a girl friend.

Time

About 1000 am.

Lighting

This was taken in natural light, which was plenty because of the large windows.

Equipment

I had my Sony A7II with me and my 55 prime lens. I brought it in the cafe because they have a beautiful display case full of lovely pastries that are very photogenic.

Inspiration

I had some luck in the past with food photos on stock sites. This dish was so pretty I just took the photo. I am surprised how popular it's been in the viewbug community.

Editing

I did minimal processing in Lightroom.

In my camera bag

Normally I carry the Sony A7II, 90 mm macro prime, 55 prime, wide angle 16-35mm, 70-350 telephoto, ext flash, memory cards, extra batteries in my photo bag.
