Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken on the bottom level of my town home. I'd read a little tutorial on how to set this up and my granddaughter agreed to model for me.

Time

Sometime in the afternoon.

Lighting

Natural window light.

Equipment

Nikon 7000, tripod, macro lens (if I remember correctly). No flash

Inspiration

I'd seen this set up explained in a short tutorial.

Editing

Simple LR post-processing, change to B&W

In my camera bag

Now I use a Sony A7III. I have several lenses.

Feedback

You need a willing model; plate of clean plexiglass (or regular glass but it's heavy) sprayed with Rain-ex ; mini blinds and some way to keep them upright; spray bottle to make the rain drops; good natural light.
