This was taken during later afternoon on a safari in wilpattu National park.Lighting
Given the green foliage with blue tailed green bee eater the background looked good and there was back lighting which was visible through the foliage.Equipment
Nikon d850 with a nikkor 200-500 /f5.6 lense hand held.Inspiration
Green bee eaters are on my favourite birds and I find them colorful. The green foliage in background and the color ful blue tail insipred me to click in its natural habitat.Editing
Yes used simple basic tools of post processing in light room.In my camera bag
D850 with 200-500 mm /f5.6 , nikon 300PF /f 4 lense. In addition D 500 coupled with Tamaron 150 600 mm g2 for extra reach of birds.Feedback
When on safari don't be glued for big game or cats. Even small creatures are beautiful in nature. Just watch for them. This pic was captured during a alaram call for a elusive srilankan leopard. We found this bird perched . We stopped the vehicle and quickly captured this beauty before he could fly.
