Behind The Lens

Location
The photo was taken during a evening game drive /safari in famous masai mara national reserve.
Time
It was taken during the late afternoon game drive.
Lighting
It was bit sunny and the cheetah imani and her cubs were feeding on a recent Impala kill in shade.
Equipment
This was shot using Nikon 850 along nikkor 200-500/ f5.6 telephoto Lense
Inspiration
We had waited for a long time in hot sun as cheetah and cubs were focused on eating the meal. I was waiting for a right moment for the cub to peek a boo with blood stains on its face. I felt that would perfectly reflect true nature of these predators. Cub though so cute looking is a predator. That's what inspired me to show case it.
Editing
I had used basic post processing of adjusting high lights , lifting of shadows, contrast and noise reduction. As cheetah and her cubs were in shade to reflect it I had darkened the background using vignetting.
In my camera bag
I always carry 2 camera bodies Nikon D850 and Nikon D500 coupled with telephoto Lense of Nikkor 200-500 and 300 pf /f4 Lense
