I took this picture during a street photography session.
I love shooting these subjects at sunset in backlight conditions, the shapes stand out, the glow of the edges define the subject.
In particular I like to catch reflections in my lens to make the mood more dreamy, in this case I removed the hood of my lens intentionally to increase the flare.
This kind of photography (street) it's not my usual genre, but it was so fun and useful to grow my knowledges & techniques, in landscape photography the preparation and waiting for the right time are crucial for good results, sometimes for the shot you have in mind it takes hours, days, seasons or even years.
In street photography the difficult is catch the right moment, it's just as difficult because it couldn't happen again !
This has stimulated me a lot and i believe that is a good training for all ranging in the genre that we do not usually shoot.

I took this photo near my holiday home, on the north-east coast of Italy.Time
It was a late winter afternoon, at sunset.Lighting
I love shooting against the light, street photography is completely different from my style of photography, the landscape. Landscapers meticulously study the scene before going on the spot, in the street you choose on the fly, you turn, you move, you lower, you let the light filter through objects, you wait for your subject to cross it ... It is very complicated but at the same time extremely stimulating!Equipment
When I make these outings the aim is to strive, train my vision so I try to take the bare minimum, body and 50mm prime, the body changes the focal length!Inspiration
Sometimes I like to measure myself with myself, to enrich my knowledge, train my vision by making photographic styles that are not mine, which I don't know well, such as street photography.Editing
In this type of photographs very little, I correct a little the contrast, the glare and cropping a little the photo if I want to adjust the composition that often in this type of photographs is not the thing you look on the field.In my camera bag
When I do very little street photography, I hold my camera and 50mm fixed and my 70-200 in my backpack.Feedback
I can not give great advice because I am not an expert of the genre, but I can advise anyone like me who is a landscape painter not to dwell only on that, to space other genres, there is always something to learn and everything comes in handy!
