Congratulations as the winner of my Something Coiled challenge. This photo immediately caught my attention with the wonderful depth of field and unique perspective through the coils leading to the person. Well deserved! Kathy

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, while exploring Bricktown with some of my fraternity brothers.

Time

It was about 5 pm, just the right time when sun started to set.

Lighting

I made sure to find an alley that blocked the sun, but still let enough light in for the photo.

Equipment

This photo was taken simply with my Nikon D3500 and Nikkor 18-55 mm lens.

Inspiration

It was sort of an idea, and I hate leaving my ideas in my head, so I took advantage of a day off of classes and drove from Stillwater down to OKC.

Editing

No

In my camera bag

I normally have my camera, two lenses, tripod, flash, and cleaning bag.

Feedback

Don’t overthink. It’s your picture, you don’t have to make it exactly the same, be creative and find the composition that fits what you want.
