Point Reyes Cypress Tree TunnelTime
I took this photo in the afternoon.Lighting
The sun was shining at an angle to the left of the trees. The tunnel was mostly shaded with patches of sunlight shining through as my sons ran down the road.Equipment
For this shot I used my Canon EOS R camera, and a Canon EF 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 lens. I didn't use a tripod or flash since there was plenty of natural light.Inspiration
The Cypress Tunnel at Point Reyes has been on my bucket list for awhile, and since we were in the area visiting family, I had to take a trip there with my boys. It was as beautiful as I had pictured it in my head, with the tall cypress trees forming a tunnel. My boys happily ran down the road while I took photos of them.Editing
Only minimal post-processing was done.In my camera bag
I have a Canon EOS R that I'm very happy with. The lenses that I have are: Canon 24-70mm F/2.8, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8, Canon EF 100mm macro f/2.8, and Canon EF 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5. I carry multiple batteries, chargers, & cleaning cloths.Feedback
The Point Reyes Cypress Tree Tunnel is a very popular place for photographers. Thankfully we were the only ones there at the time. Even if a place is well photographed, I think everyone can bring their own creativity to it, & think of new ways to photograph it, whether it's new angles, or effects, or lighting.
