It is something that makes me very happy because I finally reached the 6b threshold at sight, a goal that counts for me a lot. The goal by spring is 6c at sight, and maybe for training I will try some 7th worked, which I have never done so far for various reasons.
This is because I want to start climbing VI and maybe VII without the fear that runs through you when you know you are only one step below your limit, especially if alone.
Last week on a VI passage, after my security system got jammed on a beam, I crashed for about 6-7 meters and also caused burns after trying to cling to the rope (brilliant).
The funny thing is that I was not scared, I was angry about the security system, so I tried the passage again and completed it. I continued on the second pitch but when I arrived at the top of this I understood that with that hand I would not be able to make it, so I went down in double.
Needless to describe the adrenaline rush and that day I did not even take pictures unfortunately, but I doubt I will forget.
In this photo Ale instead exceeds his threshold with a 6a +, that roof inspired me so much for a photo, so I climbed with a half rope on the wall next to me and I prepared to seize the moment.
