Location

This photo was shot in march 2018 in the department of Choco, Colombia, located on the Colombian pacific coast, you can reach this place only by boat, the nearest airport is in Bahia Solano. There are no roads in the whole coast area.

Time

Photo shot in the late afternoon, sunrise has been behind the jungle you can see in the background

Lighting

Lightning conditions were every day different, on this day we had clouds, very good for a long exposure photo

Equipment

Fuji XT2 & 10-24 mm lens, f14 @ 10mm 20 sec with ND1000 filter / ISO 200

Inspiration

I was taking on that day a large number of land- and seascape photos playing with the ND filter

Editing

I use Lr and NIK filter for bw converting

In my camera bag

XT2 and X100F by Fuji, lenses; 10-24 / 18-55 / 56R / 100-400 / ND Filter, Sirui tripod

Feedback

Take your time, observe the light, if you have time, dot it for several days. We have been 5 days on this remote place and been the only guests at the hotel, plenty of time to relax and observe sunset, sunrise and the sea
