I took this picture from my car in Parc Omega, Montebello, Quebec, Canada That deer was looking at us while I was driving on the road covered by snow, so I stopped and took that shot through the opened window.Time
It was in the beginning of the afternoon in December.Lighting
The day was cloudy and it was snowing heavily as it can be seen on the picture..Equipment
The camera used is a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and the lens used is an EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM. No tripod or flash were used for that picture.Inspiration
The majestic stature of that deer with his large antlers and back and forehead covered with snow, inspired me to take that picture.Editing
I used some of the softwares listed below. Adobe Lightroom, Macphun Luminar ,Macphun Aurora HDRIn my camera bag
I carry mostly: Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Canon EF 35mm 1:2 IS USM Canon Extender EF 2x III I also carry sometime a Bushman Amarulla carbon Tripod equipped with a Gitzo center ball head.Feedback
Well, probably the best thing to do is to go to the Parc Omega, Montebello, Quebec, Canada where you will have a lot of opportunities to see beautiful deers as well as other animals. If you go in winter I recommend to use a 4x4 car in case of heavy snow fall.
