Again. Speechless.
Beautiful shot. This photo brings me peace and I can almost feel the fresh air on my face.
Side note: the castle is a bit much for my taste as far as living, however I would love to walk out of the woods from my shelter every so often and see that gigantic beauty popping out of the landscape.

Location
One of the best spot in Bavaria, the Neuschwainsten Castle near Fussen seen from the Marienbrücke; a jewel of the european architecture in a fantastic landscape easy to find and to reach due to a paved path. Absolutely to see once in a lifetime!Time
This was in the late afternoon, near the sunset: a perfect cloud situation in the sky, the first autumn colours painted the trees of the forest under the castle and a great golden reflection in the waters of the lakes around the city.Lighting
I didn't need artificial lights, I shot this by free hand: the bridge in not very settled and in the focal hours it's full of tourists so a tripod is not always a good idea...Equipment
Canon eos 6d , Tamron 15-30 @ 17mm , f/9 , 1/250 sec. , iso 640 , no tripodInspiration
This is a place that doesn't need presentations and when I pass close to it a stop is sure.Editing
Cropped and straighten out, this pic only received a leveling of bright and shadows, a little lift at the temperature and a bit of saturation for let the weat colors show up!In my camera bag
With my Canon eos 6d there always are the 15-30, the 24-70 and the 70-200, all Tamron and all f/2.8; I use Rollei c5ii tripod and RayMaster camera filters.Feedback
Keep calm for the crowd of people you could find on the path and on the bridge; if you like more isolated places there are a lot of other views of this castle, but this is the standard one!
