Location
This photo was taken at Hollywell cemetery in Oxford.Time
I took this shot at 10 o'clock in the morning. It was one of a few i took at the time, i was lucky enough to get to within approximately 8 feet of it with out it flying off.Lighting
I was lucky enough to have a wonderful sunlit day. Also it sat out on the branch in the sun was good.Equipment
The Camera was a Canon 1000D with a Canon 70 - 300 mm lens. This shot was taken handheld with a focal length of 200mmInspiration
This was a shot that wasn't so much inspired but a lucky discovery as i was walking around the Cemetery. I happened across it as i was about to leave and thought it was sitting in a nice position for a photo. The Robin was very obliging in staying where it was.Editing
The only post-processing i did to the shot was to sharpen the edges a bit.In my camera bag
Since this photo i have changed my equipment. I now carry a Canon 1300D with 3 lenses, a Canon 18-55mm / a Canon 28-90 mm and a Tamron 70-300mm. I also carry a Maginon SZ350 bridge camera.Feedback
Be patient and wait it out if the bird returns to the same perch.
