Behind The Lens

Location

I was on vacation with my family on the US side of Niagara Falls when I took this photo. As I like to say, I will be forever a beginner who is addicted of photography, art and nature beauty in general.

Time

I was walking around the falls, the US side, about two pm. The light was beautiful, perfectly spread and well balanced.

Lighting

I was walking around the falls, the US side, about two pm. The light was beautiful, perfectly spread and well balanced. At the same time I wanted catch the motion flows of the water so I decided to set up the shutter speed as slow as it could be works.

Equipment

This was shot on a Canon 6D with a Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR

Inspiration

I was looking for a spot where I could had find the perfect balance of shapes, colors between waterfalls and surrounding nature.

Editing

Basically I worked on three different shots with three different ev stop and then, at home, I did a simple post processing procedure to get a not too flashy but (I think) a well balanced HDR photo.

In my camera bag

In my photobag there is always room for my Canon 6D, a 50 mm Canon lens, a 28-75 Tamron lens, a 70-300 Canon lens and a Matz Mecablitz 44 flash.
