Could you add more details to this picture-portrait? Where is it? Jammu Cashmere, Handokosh Mountains, ...?

Go closer to subject but don't intimate. It will be easy if you let the subject know that you are taking their picture. Their permission will make all the difference in their mood and pose. You may want to thank them after taking picture. It will be goo to show them picture in your camera after taking picture. This makes then very happy.
