Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Ayia Napa (Cyprus). I have been on vacation with my family and walked along seaside looking for the beautiful places. This was one of them. I came here during the week and made a lot of shots with different angles and exposures.

Time

This was one of thouse, which was taken during sunset. This was taken on May 21, 2017 at 6:57 PM

Lighting

I waited for beautiful colors of sunset and wanted combine it with milky water.

Equipment

This was shoot with Olympus OM-D E-M1 and Olympus PRO lens 7-14 f2.8 with LEE BIG Stopper from Gitzo tripod. You can find example of this on my instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/BUGZilSDVRA/?taken-by=mgbrain

Inspiration

I love make photos of rocks and water. We haven't such high stone cliffs in Odessa (Ukraine) and I always try find such place during travelling.

Editing

Here I used Lightroom for general color correction and Photoshop with RAYA PRO and Google Nik plugins.

In my camera bag

I usually have in my bag my Olympus E-M1 II with best three PRO lenses 12-40 f2.8, 40-150 f2.8 and 7-14 f2.8 from Olympus and time to time Panasonic DG Summilux 25mm f1.4 and Olympus 60mm f2.8 macro. I have flash with me of course and mini tripod manfrotto. Sometime I take both my cameras E-M5 II and E-M1 II.
