Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is taken outside Zion, or extended boundaries of Zion. These are called Candy Hills (Yant Platu). We hiked 3 miles uphill for this view. When the storm clouds rolled in, we thought it is over, and just before sunset the magenta colors appeared in clouds which almost looked like mamatus clouds. The whole hill glowed in warm light making it amazing evening.

This place is really a sacred place. I'm concered sharing the location as nowadays in this instgram world, there are lot more people destroying natural beauty that protecting it.

Respect the environment. Leave no traces, and keep it clean, undamanged. There is lot one can shoot at this place, so use your creativity than being copy cats. One can also do macro photos here with the patterns, abstracts etc.
