Behind The Lens

Location

A local Saunder's Farm Scare Attraction that is set up every Halloween near Munster, Ontario.

Time

Mid day.

Lighting

Normal lighting but a dark background.

Equipment

A Canon T2i with a 50-250 mm zoom lens - handheld.

Inspiration

This young person working at the farm had an amazing mask and he did not speak which kind of added to the "eeriness".

Editing

I processed it with Topaz Impressions with reduced opacity and blended it to add a little contrast and "texture".

In my camera bag

I have the Canon T2i with a Sigma 10-20 mm and a Sony RX 10 (with a fixed zoom 35 - 600 mm equivalent lens) and a Manfrotto tripod.

Feedback

I like to use a telephoto for this type of shot in order to keep my distance from the subject and not cause a reaction. I also enjoy using different software to process images for different effects.
