Location
While on a shopping trip with my wife to a nearby village, I went out to the street to check out the scenery and spotted this beautiful dog, patiently waiting for his "humans" to return to the car. He was paid no attention to me as I took several shots. He reminded me of our faithful Golden Retriever that we had for fourteen years.Time

It was a bright day but slightly overcast with a diffused lighting effect.Equipment
I was using my Sony RX 10 Mod 3 which has a 600 mm equivalent zoom (hand held) and natural lighting.Inspiration
I was inspired by the dog's unwavering attention to looking for his masters and patiently waiting for their return. They had left the window open for him and it framed his head nicely.Editing
I used Topaz Adjust in post processing to bring out the detail in his fur and lightened his eyes slightly to better enhance them.In my camera bag
I usually carry my Sony RX 10 m lll and a Canon T2i with a 10-20 Sigma lens. I also have recently added a Sony RX 100 mod V for its portability and excellent photo quality.Feedback
Animals are great subjects, especially ones that are so attached to their human friends. As always, patience and observation (and having your camera ready) are very helpful.
