This was taken from the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago

Time

This was taken after a long day of street photography in Chicago on a cold spring evening.

Lighting

The setting sun on the west lighted up the scene evenly

Equipment

I shot it on a 24 mm 2.8 mm Nikor on a D610

Inspiration

The rocks below lake Michigan is just visible if there are low winds and the view of the gorgeous skyline with a long expsoure i could get just the right amount of movement in the clouds and also capture the rocks below.

Editing

Basic highlights, shadows, contrast and vibrance correction.

In my camera bag

I normally carry a 16-35 f4 and a 70-200 lens. One thing I cannot live without are my GND filters, they are a must for landscape photography
