Behind The Lens

Location

At an historic location called Campbells covered bridge. The only existing covered bridge in our area dating back to the 1800s.

Time

it was around 3 pm and it was really cold water but the little boy didn't mind at all. LOL

Lighting

we were in a well shaded area that made for great lighting even in a more harsh sunlight.

Equipment

d600 with 35mm 1.4 sigma art lense

Inspiration

We were just at the session towards the end and he wanted to get into the water. So i took my camera and grabbed several great shots of him playing in the water for the parents.

Editing

just using lightroom to bring out the colors and light.

In my camera bag

i carry usually my d600, d7100, 35 mm sigma art, 85, 50, and 80-200

Feedback

The best shots are the ones you don't plan for they just happen. It is something that most don't realize that spontaneous pictures turn out to be the best bc it was just spur of the moment. The best life pictures are caught in the moment. Leave open for these type shots to truly grab your clients best memories.
