If you light up her face a little bit more this will be great. I love her expression.

Thanks for the comment! I really appreciate it. And agree. I guess I cannot change the picture here. I'm really new here, hasn't discovered all the opportunities yet :-)

Location
This photo was taken at lake Ladoga in Russia. That huge lake felt like the ocean, adding to the feeling of infinity.Time
We had planned the photo session for the late afternoon but it had been raining most of the day. Still, later in the evening we were blessed with the most peaceful, calm and beautiful weather and colors: the lake had no waves and according to the owners of property - they haven't ever seen so beautiful evening there!Lighting
We were able to catch some of the evening sun, before the sunset. But most of the nearly 2 hour long photo session took place in the studio of the Nature, after the sun had set behind the trees. The pinkish-blueish background seemed to be drawn by watercolors and impossible to be copied by any human being. No extra light added.Equipment
I had my Nikon D7200 with Tamron lens SP 24-70mm F/2,8. Because of the very moving around object I didn't use tripod.Inspiration
My inspiration behind that photo is two-fold. First, I had seen closely that young, extremely talented teen-ballerina living the last school year far from home and training very hard, having only one goal in her mind - to become one day a solo dancer in ballet. Secondly, the gorgeous shooting place was close to her childhood home, the safe and happy place. And she was extremely happy just to be there, to jump (hundreds of times) and dance and to enjoy the last weeks before next school year with her family. That enjoyment and lightness, freedom and joy were overflowingly in the air!Editing
I did not use post-processing. Just trimmed a little. In my camera bag
I have my regular 24-70mm lens and often also 16-300mm lens.Feedback
My biggest goal usually is to capture the emotion. And when I'm really enjoying the atmosphere and whole process, my emotions will stay inside the picture and will influence those who will be watching.
