Great Photo! Not only is it a great subject, but the timing and lighting were great as well. Is this a place that regularly has waves like this? I would love to be able to see it in person. Please keep posting images.

Location
Taken at a secret location on the South Coast of NSW, Australia during some of the biggest swells of the last 3 decades.Time
I woke up at about 5:30 and drove an hour down the coast to this spot to catch sunrise, its always a gamble but it paid off this day. It's the best I've seen this spot all year.Lighting
The fluorescent green caught me off guard, I was so lucky to capture this. It happened because two waves collided from opposing angles and the result threw the water straight up, it was just on sunrise so the sun was hitting it perfectly horizontal and created this beautiful bright green.Equipment
Nikon D810 with a Tamron 70-200mm 2.8Inspiration
I want to capture things you've never seen waves do before. I'm always looking for ways to differentiate myself in the ever-growing field of ocean photography, which is challenging, but it's important to be unique and find your own style.Editing
I did, but I haven't added anything that isnt already there. The green in the wave is natural. I've adjusted exposure levels/shadows/highlights/contrastIn my camera bag

Lighting. Don't underestimate how important it is. Know what you want to create and be ready when the lighting is perfect.
