I think as females, we are very multi layered individuals. Through the many 'passages' we travel in this life - there can be times when we do actually feel 'Shattered'. Whether it be from Sadness, Grief, Abandonment, Abuse - I am sure the list could be a very long one. This Abstract Composition represents just that. It is my hope that whenever one of us 'experiences' what I can only imagine as 'utter devastation', that there will those who will support and uplift us; be that soft place where 'our pieces fall' ; have the patience to allow us to 'gather the pieces' and lend a hand as we 'attempt' to rise to our feet. May we always be encouraged to look to let the sun warm our faces - rather than let our heads fall and face the pavement. We all deserve to live happy, full, and vibrant lives. May we all feel deserving of doing just that. May we all find the Wisdom and Strength to recognize how beautifully and wonderfully we are made. May what we see as flaws become all that is beautiful in another's eyes and in turn may we see our 'reflection' in their eyes. I am not an extraordinarily wise person, but I have lived long enough to know that the 'journey' back makes us STRONGER.

I absolutely love this (Viewbug gave the wrong award - I was going for Genius...). The colours and all the different images amongst the fragments are fantastic. That was before I read the description - which fits beautifully with the image and makes it even more artistic! Really amazing job! One of my all time favourites!

that's OK Suz - thanks so much for those lovely words of encouragement. I figured it would strike a chord with women - but still was not sure how it would be received.

It is true that adversity builds strength...the source does not matter but the growth and survival are what a rich full life is about. This is a wonderful tribute to all humans
