This photo shows originality and stirs the curiousity. The boat and ripples on the sand look like the area used to have water and has dried up in a drought perhaps. It makes one wonder and it is beautiful too.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the Dubai Al Qudra desert in the UAE

Time

it was taken in the morning at around 9 am .

Lighting

natural lighting, the sun was up and bright by all means

Equipment

Canon EOS-1D X - EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM

Inspiration

the whole idea came when i spotted the sand dune, i saw it and i imagined a boat on it, since the dune looked like a high wave in the sea, some kind of a surreal idea of a painting ...

Editing

yes, i added a boat to the whole photo and turned it into a composite . plus some of post processing in lightroom, photoshop and nik collection .
