Location
I took this photo on the outskirts of Stafford in August 2015.Time
It was around 6:30am, and I'd sat and watched the Deer in this wheatfield, slowly coming around to the golden rays of the sun warming and awakening them.Lighting
A glorious 6am sunriseEquipment
Only that it was perfect.Inspiration
It was a spur of the moment shot...... I'd only just pruchased the Bridge camera I took this with, a second hand Fujifilm HS30, for £100, and decided to go out early and see what I could snap. I caught a glimpse of these Deer (and others), resting in a field of wheat, and decided to sneak in and just watch them, taking several shots as they slowly rose......Editing
Very little. A bit of saturation and sharpening.... the shot isn't perfect because of the distance to them from where I was. but that seems to make it work. it's more like a painting. but it IS the shot as I saw it.In my camera bag
Fujifilm HS30EXR Bridge Camera, spare battery, lens cleaner, and a plastic bag :-)Feedback
Be open to your instincts. Don't wait for the perfect shot, as the the perfect shot may have passed you by in that time.
