Sea Arch ar Dunbar Harbour, 3rd October 2015, Canon 6d, 17 40 f4 L lens, 1.4 second, iso 50, f14, camera mounted on tripod. Having researched Dunbar for ideal locations, came across the arch as an ideal point, with the flow of water and use of wide angle lens drawing your eye to the centre of the photo, I also used the golden section to compose my photo.

Location
Dunbar Sea Arch, Dunbar on the east coast of Scotland, United Kingdom.Time
Taken around about 6 in the evening.Lighting
No additional lighting required, all outdoors.Equipment
Canon 6D, Canon17 - 40 f4 L lens, mounted on a Vanguard tripod using a cable release to take the 1/4 second exposure.Inspiration
The combination of the sea arch, and the movement of the water flowing through it, drawing you eye to the centre of the photo to convey movement in a still image.Editing
In photoshop used camera raw to bring out dark details using shadows slider in rocks and balance colours to accurately represent what I was seeing. Adjusted colours sliders and black sliders also.In my camera bag
Canon 6D, 17 40 and 70 200 f4 L lens, lee big stopper filter and holder, wired shutter release, vanguard tripod, extra camera batteries.Feedback
Research location and tidal times along with weather conditions, to get the shot you want, charge all batteries before hand. Learn the different compisition rules and also what hyperfocal distance is too and have fun!
