This photo was taken at Callenwolde Fine Arts Center, Atlanta, GA. Summer of 2015.Time
This photo was taken in the afternoon at Callenwolde Fine Arts Center. There was not anything going on there that day. Therefore, we had the place to ourselves. This photo was taken beside the piano in the ballroom.Lighting
I used a fill in flash to avoid shadows. The room was very bright with white walls.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon 6D. No tripod. Fill in flash with diffuser.Inspiration
Since we had free reign to roam around the arts center, we scouted out different and unique ways to take bridal portraits. We did some with the bride to be laying on the piano. But I really liked this one of her sitting down as if she were deep in thought.Editing
I use Lightroom for post processing. I just softened it and made the necessary crop.In my camera bag
Canon 6D. Flash. Tripod. 24-105 lens and 85 prime lens.Feedback
Very important to pay attention to the little details. Placing the veil was very important. Make sure the bouquet is properly placed. I did not use a tripod but that might yield a better image.
