Behind The Lens

Location

This shot was taken at the Orillia, Ont. classic car show Aug 15 2015.

Time

Taken around the afternoon sometime

Lighting

It was a sunny and hot day but these tools were laid out in the shade luckily.

Equipment

Nikon D750, 18-35mm lens @ 18mm wide angle at F/4 , 1/200, ISO 1000.

Inspiration

I loved the textures and knew right away that these tools would look amazing in B&W

Editing

Adobe Raw, Photoshop and Nik Software SILVER FX PRO...

In my camera bag

Nikon D750 (also own the D3s but is kinda heavy to lug around), Sigma 24-105 ART lens, Nikon 24-70 F2.8 (version WITHOUT "VR"), Sigma 50mm 1.4

Feedback

I would look out for anything with textures for this kind of shot.This photo really worked out well because the tools themselves were old and a bit rusty.
