Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Hunei, Taiwan. I observed this kingfisher for month and every day I tried to get closer and closer.

Time

Kingfishers are usually very active in the morning! So this picture was taken early in the morning.

Lighting

Nothing to say about the light. Plain old natural light!

Equipment

I used a Canon Rebel T3i and the lens was the Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM!

Inspiration

I love to take bird pictures, especially kingfishers! Kingfishers are difficult to shoot and I love a good challenge!

Editing

Post-processing is very minimal. Light color adjustment and a light crop!

In my camera bag

Canon Rebel T3i,the Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM, and a tripod is all I need to shoot birds!

Feedback

Birds are difficult to shoot! Patience, patience and patience is what you need to take a good bird picture!
