Location
This was taken in a small churchyard on the outskirts of Bury, Lancashire.Time
It was a little after noon on a weekday in the Spring.Lighting
The weather wasn't great, it was dry but grey and overcast, with a few sunny spells which I took advantage of.Equipment
It was shot on my very first camera which was a basic Samsung, nothing special, just a point and shoot I was learning to use.Inspiration
There was a small clump of these flowers along the path which caught my eye as I was about to leave the grounds, I'd been a little disappointed with my findings until I saw them and decided to grab a couple of shots which turned out to be the best shots of the day.Editing
I didn't do very much to the image, it was slightly cropped down and I adjusted the contrast a tiny amount to soften it.In my camera bag
I always have my camera (Canon Powershot), filters (UV, Polarising, Yellow and a variety of others depending on what I am shooting), cleaning kit, lense hoods (soft & hard), mini tripod, wide angle lense, macro lense, reflector, hotshoe spirit level, spare batteries, flash, grips and a spare memory card.Feedback
Sometimes you can plan to go out and shoot specific things, as was the case for me that day, don't be too focused on it or you will miss the obvious, if in doubt of something take a few shots anyway.
