Location
This image was taken in Valletta the capital city of Malta.Time
It was taken at 11.47am on the 4th of September 2014.Lighting
This was done all with natural light and these gentleman were sitting in the shade.Equipment
I used Canon Camera 5D MK III with a Canon Lens 24-105mm f/4 L.Inspiration
I passed these gentlemen twice and always noticing them and kept thinking if I should shoot this scene or not. After I passed the second time something in me kept telling me to go and shoot it and so I did.Editing
I did some post processing but not much. I did some dodge and burn, curves and transformed it to monochrome. In my camera bag
Since I am a photojournalist I have to carry some stuff with me as you never know what you are going to find or meet. My equipment is two Cameras Canon 5D MK III and Canon 7D, four lenses all Canon, 24-105mm f/4 L, 17-40mm f/4 L, 50mm f1.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 L. I also carry a Canon speed light 580 EX MK II. In the car I always have a tripod, monopod and a folding stool. Stuff is carried in lower bag.Feedback
If something catches your eye shoot it and ask questions later. By thinking twice, most probably you will miss the moment. Don't do what I did with this photo, passing twice before going back to shoot it. I was lucky to have captured this moment.
