Location
Taken in studio using flash lightingTime
The best time for studio shot with models is the time of the day when they are more relaxed and focused. What is the time? Who knows...!Lighting
I used only 1 soft bank flash light and a reflector opposite to the light.Equipment
Nikon D800 + Nikkor f135mm f2 DCInspiration
I was testing the old analogue Nikkor 135mm f2DC on my new Nikon D800. I was curious to see if the lens was still extremely sharp in digital like it was on film. I just wanted the young model to be very neutral and concentratedEditing
I just converted the colour in B&W to reduce the attention from the blue eyes of the girl and focus the attention more on her expression. In my camera bag
I love sharp lenses, usually attached to a Nikon body. I use at the moment a few bodies moving around a D800.If I am 'desperate', if I do not have any thing else , I don not mind even using the Iphone.Feedback
Studio photography need a lot time experimenting to built your experience. Moving a reflector by an inch change all the story and at the same time you have also to be very smart in keeping the model interested and focused while you are.... "creating"....
