I love this. It is a reality check for some. I actually know some homeless that sit in the streets where I live, it is a big taste of reality for what lives people live. Great humanitarian shot.

Thanks, it certainly is many of the homeless have mental issues and no where else to go. Be thankful for what we have!

Beautiful composition. The Dutch tilt works amazing, the black and white really brings out the emotion

raw and gritty - the edit is very good, the subject matter is very realistic

This is the type of image my wife would capture. I am a bit self conscious for this type of photography. Wonderful work and love the B&W processing

Yes, desaturated the photo and then tone mapped the original photo with two copies, one over exposed +2 and one under exposed -2 in Lightroom. Uploaded to Photomatix Pro and used the Exposure Fusion - Artistic preset and modified the photo from that setting. Finished post processing and sharpening in Lightroom. In my camera bag

Use all your senses when you walk and look for the source of what has attracted you. As you photograph, be respectful of each person and for street photography try not to be intrusive. A quick one or two shots is probably all you will get then move on to find the next subject for your camera.
