Behind The Lens

Location

This sunset shot was taken from Polson Pier with the view of Toronto skyline.

Time

This was taken few minutes after the sunset. My goal in this shot was to get the reflection of the skyline and the lights reflection.

Lighting

I normally use Manual Mode setting, so I always take some test shots to get the exposure that I want before start shooting.

Equipment

I use Nikon D800, 24-70mm and Manfrotto tripod for my photography.

Inspiration

I've seen beautiful photos of this place on a websites and magazines, so I searched this place and try it myself.

Editing

I love like to process my photos with minimal adjustment (contrast, saturation, tones and temperature if needed).

In my camera bag

The equipment I normally have in my bag is my camera, lens, filters, shutter release cable, and cleaning kit.

Feedback

When I started my photography, I spent most of my time reading magazines and watching videos about photography and during my free time, I go out and try what I've learn. I believe that practice is still the best way to improve our skills.
