Castlerigg is a stone circle, aproximately 4500 years old, near Keswick in Cumbria. I have long wanted to photograph this magical place and at last, on holiday in The English Lake District in July 2019, I had the opportunity. Arriving in the middle of the day however, I had to wait ages for a shot of the stones devoid of sightseers. My patience paid off!
