At Lake Oleidon adjoining Lake Naivasha, there was a wide variety of species mainly pelicans and hippos and other water birds, with some sprinkling of flamingos. Since I was not able to get shots of flamingos in isolation in Lake Bogoria due to densely packed population and the distance, I saw my chance to snap a few here in their environment at somewhat closer proximity. As the boat moved closer, this small group took flight and I quickly panned my camera to shoot them as they were taking off like sprinters off the blocks on the gun, with their heads lined up at the same angle. And I got the shot what I was looking for, where their whiteness was nicely displayed against the dark greens of the vegetation behind, the blur and the spray adding to the environment.
