We spent a week in a small boat seeing the charms of the Inside Passage of Alaska and as much as possible between Juneau and getting there. Icebergs calved off the glaciers as we watched.

An iceberg is a large piece of freshwater ice that has broken off a glacier or ice shelf and is floating in open water. Almost 90% of an iceberg is below the surface of the water.
